Some Of My Favorite Things: Winter

Every few months I try & jot it down and share with y'all, what I have seen & others that I have already bought! These are a few of my favorite things for sure!

Also can you believe, Thanks giving is tomorrow! Crazy how time flies! It just seems like the year just started and now it is moments from starting a new year!

Anyway, here are the favorites I have-

 This is the prettiest nail polish, and I can't wait to wear it! I'll be  wearing it next week as a matter of fact! You can find it here.

Yep, My all time favorite sweatshirt! It's adorable! I can't wait to purchase this sweatshirt. It's super long & it'll be super cute with skinny jeans or leggings and boots! Uber cute & cozy! You can find them here.

These are my most favorite boots ever! I found these by accident and I adore them! They're comfy, cute & just what I wanted! I've been thinking about buying another pair even! You can find them here.

I've used this stuff once before and I liked it...ALOT! It's a lot gentler on my nails than gel or shellac from a salon but it stays on just as long as the shellac! It's easy to use, but there are a lot of steps to it. But totally worth it! you can find it here. (Instructions: DIY gel nails. (1) 2 coats of Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat. Wait 2 minutes between each coat (2) 1 coat of nail color. Wait 4 minutes. (3) 1 coat of Gelous. Wait 2 minutes. (4) 1 coat of nail color. 4 minutes (5) Apply a top coat.)

I saw this on instagram and I knew I had to get one at some point! They are soooo cute! I already like deer taxidermy and this is fake, so even better! No Bambi's were hurt in the making of these! You can find it here.

Just bought this Lip butter today, I have not used it as of yet, but I am anticipating to use it! It appeared to be matte when I smeared it on my hand, we'll see! You can find here.

I saw a Rebecca Minkoff bag like this on Fleur De Force's Vlog And I liked it so much, I have been dreaming about it since! and will be getting it shortly.You can find it here.

Apps: I am loving Terri Savelle Foy's Dreams & Goals. It's such an awesome app, you should get it. it's only $1.99 on iTunes.

Music: Go get Dara MacClean Petty's New album Wanted. You will not regret it! Also on iTunes. My favorite Songs at the moment are: Our only hope, Set my people free, Made, I am blessed, Good Enough. But truly, all of the songs are my favorite! So you really need this in your life! I know this girl personally and I know her heart, She's amazing!

Beauty find: NYX Lip cream

OMG! This stuff is uhh-mazing! 

Like I said a few posts ago, I'm on a red lipstick kick, well, I was watching MMandLshow on YouTube the other night and on one of their favorites videos, Laura mentioned she really liked the NYX soft matte lip cream. Of course hers was in pink, but she just loves it! So when I was at Nordstrom rack the other day to get a birthday gift, they have NYX products there, and so I checked to see if they had this lipgloss, and they did! So I wasn't sure if I wanted pink, but I did really like the red "Amsterdam" lip cream color (I even fooled my makeup artist sister with this color, since she thought this was MAC rubywoo lipstick)!!! It's the perfect texture on your lips! You can barely tell its on your lips. Its almost like a stain. it stays through everything. You may need to reapply throughout the day, but never the dame with a traditional lipgloss! i just love the matte-ness to it!

It's comes in a tube, like lipgloss but minus the gloss effect! Since I'm on a gloss hiatus, I'm so glad I picked this cream up! 

Right now I'm loving a natural bronzed face with a red lip! It's gorgeous to me!

It seems like a whole heck of a lot but I just like the way it looks! And I get so many compliments, which I mean is a bonus, for sure! 

The color is actually red, I promise! It's just the lighting that's making it seem pink!

I know I'll be purchasing more! It'll be the best when traveling! (which I'm planning to do very VERY soon!)  : ) 

Best thing about this lip cream is, it's only 6 buckaroos!!!

Beauty Find: You can't go wrong with lipstick & mascara...

Nothing is as fabulous than a woman wearing no more than lipstick, mascara & a lil powder on her face. It's a confident act to do that, and such a pretty one as well! Going au natural is a luxury in and of itself! One should do it regularly...

I'm a big fan of bright lipstick & mascara. It's so simplistic/elegant to me. Just the other day, I just wanted to wear red lipstick. I haven't worn red lipstick since Christmas time... But I REALLY wanted to! And for those of you who don't know me, I carry about 11 MAC lipsticks + others in my purse... (I've got a hook up of Mac supplies) and I carry them around with me, pretty much everywhere I go! It's been like this since high school... Crazy! And i get a little sad when i change out my purse to a smaller bag or im travling, i then only bring 4-5... Anywho, I think what spurred on the red lips, was that I had on a white V-neck (which I made & I absolutely love!) and something about a white v-neck and red lips, it's just well um, sexy.... And very chic! 

Now to the other part of this blog, I'm a HUGE fan of mascara! I will layer and layer and layer mascara on top of over each other to make them stand out. I'm a fan of my length of lashes, but my sister has such luscious lashes! They are incredibly long. I almost think she took all of the length and thickness from both my other sister and myself.

A few weeks ago, my favorite beauty store: Beauty Brands was having a fabulous event, which they always do! And they are ALWAYS so nice. And they take competitors coupons! Big plus right there, since there are days when I think Ulta doesn't even take their own coupons...

Anyway, the beauty event was about 15 or so different kinds of prestige(high end) mascaras for $10.98 ea!!!! A total steal! So I bought 2 different tubes of mascara, which were: hyperlash by smashbox & glominerals. I really like hyperlash, the glominerals one, ehhh it's ok, not my fave. But I'll still use it.

One thing to add, go to an event early, because if you waited like I did, well, lets just say, the selection is few... Which I would have liked to try some of the others... Next time! 

And then a few nights ago, I was at Kroger's grocery store, and I had just pinned this mascara, like two days before. And so I bought the maybelline cat eyes mascare, which I layer with Hyperlash... And it works great! And I think I paid only $5.89 for, and I think that was a good price for it. 

Side note: 

Funny story, years ago, I hated loose eyelashes! Grossed me out entirely! Where I made my family get the loose eyelashes off my face and made them get them off their own faces too. And the whole blowing it off your finger and making a wish thing, um no! Eww! That's just disturbing. Like I said, funny story! Hah!

Beauty Find: Butter London Sweetie Shop

Aren't these colors precious? The new 2013 spring collection of Butter London ''3 Free" Nail polishes have arrived on the shelves of Ulta, Macy's & Nordstrom : ) These colors make me so happy too! I adore the yellow one, named Jasper. So pretty! My other two favorites from this collection are: Cuppa, Kerfuffle & Molly Coddled : )

 I can totally see myself wearing these colors this spring & summer! Yay!

Beauty Find: "mood" lip gloss

Nyx "mood" lip gloss in affectionate. So I went out today with my roomie, and we found ourselves in the Fort Worth area... Ulta to be exact! And I had a gift card burning in my wallet since Christmas, so we just had to go right?! Well, I've seen this lip gloss for awhile and told myself I would buy it sooner or later, well needless to say, I bought it! Plus, they were having a sale on them, buy one get one 50% off!!! Yay!

It feels really good on your lips, not tacky at all! The flavor is delish! The color is just right, since it becomes more intense when it warms up on your lips. It's amazing! Turned the roomie onto it too! You should definitely try it!

Also smashbox has a mood lipgloss as well, but I haven't tried it yet!

Also if go into ulta and ask for an ulta card, and give them your info, each month they'll send you a catalog and coupon, usually $3.50 or $5.00 off your purchase of $10 or more! And once you start building up points, you'll start receiving free stuff and a 20% off coupon about 4-5 times a year! Cha-Ching! : )

I adore...

Ok, so when growing up, my mom didn't allow my sisters and myself to wear black nail-polish... I mean ever! So just recently, I kept seeing black nailpolish and so I finally got up the nerve to buy it! I bought the Butter London union jack black, when ulta was having their 21 days of beauty and it just so happens it was buy one get one free! Boom! So a $14 nailpolish now just become $7.00 ea.! Cha-Ching! Less than Essie and OPI!

So anyways, back to my story! I bought this nailpolish, I finally made myself try it on, and fell in love! I adore this color! It is the creamiest dreamiest color ever! I currently have it on as we speak!

Seriously, you need to go buy this! It's not a true black, it's creamy and it's almost like a really really dark grey!

Plus it flatters your hands! Big score right there! Most darker colors make your fingers, slightly stubby/fatty, but no, this stuff is amazing!!!

You will not regret it!

Plus, when you brush it on and a top coat, it is the shiniest! So great!
