Soul Searcher: what's happenin'

So, for today's blog I wanted to show you a mini haul I purchased from oldnavy & beauty brands... But since I haven't received them yet, I'll have to do so next week!

Also I have worked out 3 consecutive times this week! Yay! I have been rebounding, to cleanse the lymph and to condition my body! Super healthy! Unfortunately I haven't cut all refined sugars out of my diet yet... Still working on that one!

Hmm what else... Oh I have been asked to do at least two events next year, so I'll have to fill you in on that at a later date! 😄

I am also going to be at Funky Finds Fort Worth, selling Maude C. Items November 9th & 10th!!! So if you can be there I would love see you and meet ya!

I've been a busy beaver, because I have been producing new jewels and things, but also I have been packaging them also! Gosh I love it! It's so me yet so professional looking!
See? It's awesome right?
Soon enough they'll be in stores! (Madewell & free people...among others!)

Also, next week, I'll be starting my #thankfulthursdays on ze blog & Instagram... So please stay tuned.

Another thing, I would like to see what y'all are wearing each week or day and I thought it would be fun if we uploaded pics to Instagram using the hashtag #sbrwhatwewore! This is so we can be encouraged & inspired and see what we are all wearing! My Instagram is: @RynB I'd love for the follows! Thanks y'all! Oh and guys are included! Hah! But please keep it modest! Thanks! : )

So that's definitely an update! I'll have a cute DIY for ya Friday & more thing thrown your way next week!
Love ya! -Ryn

Soul searcher: the skinny

So I've been thinking, I want a divorce from sugar. I know it ain't healthy for me & yet I still eat it and feel awful afterwards! I have found myself in a rhythm of eating it. It has to stop! I'm divorcing sugar! I have to get it out of my life for good.

I know that if I get it out of my eating plan, it will in turn help me to lose weight.

I'm tired of looking in the mirror and groaning. I know it may take some time to convince myself I don't want it. (Hopefully not!) Because I'm a girl who likes a scoop of ice cream or a donut on occasion. Once in awhile is "ok", but not on a regular basis. I don't want to have a donut around my waist. It's not attractive. And it's harder to style.

I want to be fit, healthy, strong, beautiful, confident, lean, toned & thin. I would like to buy woven clothes & size medium or large size things in j.crew, Madewell & Anthropologie without garments that pull at the seams. Yeah, I want to totally revamp my eating habits. And have a goal & accomplish it, ya know?!

I also want to get back into the exercise scene. I'm done with not exercising! No more making excuses that I don't have time. If I have time to watch my favorite shows the nights that they're on, then I have enough time to get up and stay active.

I'm always a confident person with my self esteem & self image, but I need to step up my game in the confidence department! I am totally graced to lose weight, to break the strong hold of sugar over my life. Enough is enough. Time to get crackin'! Lets see the results!

If you're in the same boat or a similar boat...or if you've cut sugar out of your lifestyle, or know any awesome exercises that you love, let me know of any tips in the comment section below, please & thank you!

Love y'all! -Ryn

DIY Friday: Gym Tee pt.2

Here is part dos of the gym tee! I couldn't just leave it plain, I needed something more! So I gathered my supplies and images and totally transformed a plain white tank onto a whole other level!

What you need:
Computer and images of your choice
Transfer paper (you can get a pack at an office supply store)
Iron

Step 1. Find an image & quote you like ( I used Audrey Hepburn)

Step 2. Print out the image on a sheet of transfer paper, full size. Also if you're printing out letters or quotes, you'll need to flip the quote, so it's backwards.

Step 3. Cut the excess of the transfer away. Center it on your tee. Image face down on the t-shirt.

Step 4. Set iron on medium-high heat. Iron the transfer paper, for about 10-30 seconds in circular motion. Check a corner of it to see if its sticking.

Step 5. Let cool for a minute. Then peel the backing off.

Step 6. Ta-da! You have a super cute workout tee!!!

Love y'all, Ryn

DIY Friday: Gym Tee pt. 1

This is the back of the tee...

This is a fun DIY! Right now I am into cute workout wear!

My theory is: if you have really cute workout gear 1. You'll want to work out. 2. You'll feel cute working out! It's a bonus to actually get toned while looking cute! 😉

Also, if you don't want to work out in this, but you do want to show it off, just wear it as a tank top! Who'll know, right?!

This is a 2 part DIY. But can I just say, its totally worth it and easy peasy to make!

What you'll need:
Men's t-shirt ( I used an XL tall from oldnavy.com, I like the length.)
Scissors

Step one: lay your shirt out.

Step two: fold your shirt in half. And smooth out as many wrinkles as possible.

Step three: use your scissors to cut the hem of the shirt to a baseball hem. (rounded hem) just eyeball it.

Step four: cut the sleeves off, a rounded angle.

Step five: Cut neckline an inch to two inches below the actual neckline. Keep up with the curve of the neckline.

Step six: lay out the shirt.

Step Seven: Take half an inch of left over fabric (I got it from the sleeve area) and cut it to make a strip.

Step eight: gather the back, armhole to armhole together, bunch all the fabric together and hold.

Step nine: use the 1/2in. piece of fabric, tie it around the bunch. Then wrap it around the bunch a few times. And tie it off. Then cut use your scissors to cut the ends off.

And then you are done with this part! Next week second part! Whoop whoop!

Thanks for reading y'all! -Ryn
