Beauty find: Pacifica Eyeshadow Palette

So if you follow me on Instagram, Facebook, or twitter, then you saw my post about the Pacifica eyeshadow palette I had just bought. I told you I would post about it!

I've been eyeing these palette for the past few months, and it just so happened to be 25% off beauty & vitamins at the place I was shopping, so I bought the two palettes. Their names are mystical & enlighten.
(Wearing enlighten here) (btw, had to get a shot in with my niece-y!)

These eyeshadows are wonderful! I get excited every time I am about to use them! They go on so smoothly. They blend well on your eyelid. I still use my NYX lid base primer. And it plays nicely with it!

Just looked up on their website, www.pacificaparfume.com and they have more palettes to choose from! Yay!
And they are reasonably priced too! The regular price of these palettes with out the discount it $14.00ea. Not bad for 4 eyeshadows!

And I really like the palette idea because, it's compact- so when traveling you don't need to bring so many eyeshadows with you. Your not searching for multiple colors when getting ready and it's easy to choose a color!

Pacifica totally nailed it with these!

Oh and did I mention that:
100% vegan, cruelty-free, formulated without FD&C color, phthalates, talc, parabens or petroleum? I didn't think so!
And it's made in USA. Bonus!

Trish McEvoy did a great thing when creating palettes!

So I give this product two thumbs up! Totally worth your money! : )

Enjoy- Ryn

P.S. Lots to share with you soon! Love you all so much!

P.S.S So I forgot to mention on my blog yesterday that my most favorite thing about those make up palettes, was when you open up the palette, you read "you are so pretty" what great packaging! A boost of confidence for ya right there! But always remember you are pretty, but lets not stop there, you are beautiful, lovely, gorgeous & stunning! Forget the whole average or above average thing. Be the best you you can be. And stay confident in knowing you are pretty, lovely, beautiful, gorgeous & stunning!

The princess and the pea... Of a dog...

Some nights I just feel like the princess and the pea! I try and try and try to get comfortable, but to no avail, I'm tossing or turning, or squirming!

It could have something to do with this certain dog that shares my bed! How she's only 10lbs and somehow she ends up stretched out like she owns the ENTIRE bed! I wouldn't change it one bit, but, I do wish some personal space was available! 😉 But oh well! I guess her legs will jab into my side... Until I move her, and during the night she'll creep back to snuggle, which really is adorable! 😘😴

Happy dreaming!

Happy Anniversary SBR!!!!

I cannot believe it! It's a year since, I had my first "official" client. Monday February 11th was THE day. The day I stepped out and did my thing! Or ahem, God's thing! I'm so glad he made me who I am!

Ahh it was a crazy whirlwind of a year! And yet soo much fun! : ) can't wait for this year!

so excited to experience this next year!!!

Here are some pics from this past year to prove such an incredible year! Just the highlights, these aren't even all of them!

P.S. The whole icing on the cake is real! I believe that the icing is: to empower women to figure out how to be beautiful in their own skin! (You do not have to dress in a sleazy way just to show that you're beautiful, the way you do it is to not reveal so much and let the clothes speak for ya) To let them know how truly valuable they really are. The worth they are is so tremendous! If I can pamper them each time I see them, then I see it as I am doing my job!

Day 6: Katelyn Kurth - Holiday workout amidst the hustle & bustle...

Katelyn is passionate about helping others live well and enjoy their life by educating them on how to naturally take care of their bodies.
She loves being active - hiking, biking, and playing tennis are a few of her favorites - and she is quite the sports fan, which she attributes to growing up with three brothers. She also enjoys shopping and fashion. And her favorite place to be is tucked away in the mountains.

20 Minute Exercise

The holidays are a busy time of the year, with Christmas shopping, parties, and more! There are lots of things that can take your attention during the Christmas season but it doesn't mean you have to set aside your workout routine.

Did you know you can achieve a great workout in just 20 minutes? We are talking quality versus quantity, folks. And I am specifically talking about a type of exercise called Sprint 8. This technique is exponentially superior to regular cardio workouts and will give you great results.

So what is Sprint 8? Well, have you ever sat and watched children play? Did you notice how they naturally move? They don't run marathons, but rather sprint about at high speeds for short amounts of time, resting in between spurts. This is essentially Sprint 8.

Your body was designed for this type of movement, and in response it produces human growth hormone (HGH). This is what helps kids grow and adults maintain optimal health and youthful vigor. On the other hand, low intensity long cardio workouts can produce the hormone cortisol. This stress hormone tells your body to store fat, particularly in the lower abdomen area. I think we all would agree that the purpose of working out is to reduce fat, not store it! Performing Sprint 8 you will also help you target hard to reach muscles that are not effectively reached with most other exercises.

The key to performing Sprint 8 properly is to raise your heart rate up to your anaerobic threshold. Keep pushing at maximum effort for 20 to 30 seconds, and then rest for 90 seconds. You can perform these sprint intervals walking/running style or on a bike.

Here's a summary of a Sprint 8 workout:

1. Warm up for three minutes
2. Exercise as hard and fast as you can for 30 seconds. This is your sprint time. You should be gasping for breath and feel like you couldn't possibly go on another few seconds
3. Recover for 90 seconds, still working by either walking or pedaling, but at slower pace and decreased resistance
4. Repeat the high intensity exercise and recovery 7 more times
5. Cool down for 3 minutes

Perform Sprint 8 two to three times per week. Trust me, if you do these at your peak performance you won't want to do it more than that.

Here's another exercise that will get your heart pumping and can be performed in less than 20 minutes.

- 30 jumping jacks
- 5 walking push ups
- 25 high knees
- 10 crunches
- 10 squat jumps
- 30 butt kicks
- 5 walking push ups
- 10 sit-ups
- 30 jumping jacks
- 1 minute wall sit
- 10 crunches
Repeat 3 times
