DIY Friday: Gym Tee pt. 1

This is the back of the tee...

This is a fun DIY! Right now I am into cute workout wear!

My theory is: if you have really cute workout gear 1. You'll want to work out. 2. You'll feel cute working out! It's a bonus to actually get toned while looking cute! 😉

Also, if you don't want to work out in this, but you do want to show it off, just wear it as a tank top! Who'll know, right?!

This is a 2 part DIY. But can I just say, its totally worth it and easy peasy to make!

What you'll need:
Men's t-shirt ( I used an XL tall from oldnavy.com, I like the length.)
Scissors

Step one: lay your shirt out.

Step two: fold your shirt in half. And smooth out as many wrinkles as possible.

Step three: use your scissors to cut the hem of the shirt to a baseball hem. (rounded hem) just eyeball it.

Step four: cut the sleeves off, a rounded angle.

Step five: Cut neckline an inch to two inches below the actual neckline. Keep up with the curve of the neckline.

Step six: lay out the shirt.

Step Seven: Take half an inch of left over fabric (I got it from the sleeve area) and cut it to make a strip.

Step eight: gather the back, armhole to armhole together, bunch all the fabric together and hold.

Step nine: use the 1/2in. piece of fabric, tie it around the bunch. Then wrap it around the bunch a few times. And tie it off. Then cut use your scissors to cut the ends off.

And then you are done with this part! Next week second part! Whoop whoop!

Thanks for reading y'all! -Ryn

Soul Searcher: You're my inspiration/ It's all in the details!

So sometimes it's just nice to just go into a store and try clothes on...
You don't neccessarily need to buy from them. You just go and feel like a girl. and you try, try try again!

So the other day, I went in and tried things on at Anthropologie. And I had a blast.
I picked out what I liked and then headed to the dressing room. It felt glorious!
Like the heavens were shining down on me.
I also got some inspiration in details for the clothes I make myself. And I like to see how the stores style their mannequins, because it helps me grow as a stylist, to style my cleints and myself. I'm  kinda excited about the pics I have too!  : )
P.s. The People were super nice to me that day! BONUS!

Here are a few pics I took! : )

Fancy Find: Paper!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday! It was so fun at my house, everyone came over, we ate, we laughed, we thanked The Lord for giving up His son on the cross, so that we could have an everlasting relationship with Him. So then I was able to style my sister and take pictures of her, blog will be up soon! It was just a great day I would say!

Umm, have you seen how cute rifle paper co. is?! So cute! I love the florals, the colors and her designs! It's so lovely when I use her labels, which I had bought in February from Anthropologie! I even made a card out of them! So happy! I'm still waiting for the cute cute cute iPhone cases to debut! Can't wait! Sometime in April, she said it would be!😊 Eeek!
