I Love Stripes...

I Love Stripes. Whether it's dresses, skirts, t-shirts, pullovers, or blazers I still love 'em! Even though I'm curvy, horizontal stripes look good on me! The thing to remember when buying horizontal striped items, is to get them that are loose enough, so they do not shoe indiscretions, but you want them to hug the right places, if you find a shirt that is boxy, you may be able to drop down a size : ) you never want to look frumpy!
A few months ago, My client & I were in Madewell, and she bought a v-neck shirt that was b+w striped, it was adorable on here! She's curvy size S/M and she bought it looser but it fit! And she can pair it with absolutely anything! From a pencil skirt to and A-line skirt to skinnies & a blazer! I mean there are so many ways you can pair stripes. You may be able to pair them with Florals, other stripes, brights, neutrals, or polka dots : ) There are times when you can find striped shirts, dresses, skirts & sweaters at vintage, thrift stores or second hand stores worth buying! If you know how to sew, you may be able to deconstruct the item!  Here are some really cute horizontal (and some vertical) options for you : )

Also the great thing is you don't have to just buy in black and white, you can buy stripes in color : )
