DIY: Polka-dot shoes

So I got the spark to do this around 11:00 pm one night, and I grabbed a pair of black ballet flats, acrylic paint, a small pointy paintbrush & a pencil.

1. Gather your supplies,
Paint, shoes, paintbrush & lead pencil. pick your paint color & get started!

2. Use the pencil as your paintbrush and load it.

3. Use a scrap piece of fabric or paper towel & practice. (practice makes perfect right?!)

3. Now you're set, load the pencil with paint, put your shoes in arms length, and start dotting. (I did not use a certain type of pattern, I just went with the flow, but you can always use a metallic marker and dot it before you paint, so you know where you want the paint to go.)

4. Then you may see slightly outlined dots, not much paint in the center, you'll want to use your small pointy paintbrush, and load with paint, and start filling in the dots.

5. Then you're done! You can scotchguard them if you want to!

6. Viola! Super cute right?! Madewell worthy?
